Monday August 26th - from 21:00 - Traditional music session at the Roost

Fitzgerald's Roost is a local pub popular with students. It's beside the Garda station and close to the main gate of Maynooth University's south campus. Every Monday there's a free traditional music session held there. It kicks off at 21:00, but it's advisable to turn up early since the section of the bar where the musicians play is relatively small.

Wednesday August 28th - from 19:00 - Conference dinner at Barberstown Castle

Barberstown Castle is a four-star country house and historic 13th century castle. It has maintained an elegance of design over eight centuries by sympathetically blending its Elizabethan and Victorian extensions with the original medieval castle keep of 1288.

The evening includes a three-course meal, wine, and a late bar. Musical entertainment will be provided by award-winning members of the Maynooth University Music Department.

Transport will be provided to and from the venue from the MU campus.
